Buying and selling with strangers should never feel like a risk. Khaznati is built so that it isn’t — every seller is ID-verified, payment is held until delivery is confirmed, and every order is covered by buyer protection if an item doesn’t arrive or isn’t in the condition described. Here’s how we keep the marketplace safe.
Verified sellers
To sell on Khaznati, every seller completes identity verification using a valid Emirates ID and a UAE mobile number. Real people stand behind every listing, which keeps bad actors out and gives buyers confidence in who they’re dealing with.
Door-to-door pickup and delivery
When an item sells, a courier collects it from the seller’s door and delivers it to the buyer. There are no meet-ups and no arranging couriers yourself — and because payment is held until delivery is confirmed, both sides are protected throughout.
Buyer protection on every order
The seller isn’t paid straight away — the payment is only released once delivery is confirmed. If an item never arrives or isn’t in the condition the seller described, the buyer reports it and our team reviews the claim — if it’s upheld, they’re refunded in full. Sellers know the payment is real before they part with their item.
Buyer protection
If a delivered item doesn’t match its listing, buyers are eligible for a full refund under our buyer-protection process. Report the problem in the app within 48 hours of delivery — our team reviews the claim, and if it’s upheld the payment is returned to the buyer rather than released to the seller. If the order isn’t confirmed or disputed within those 48 hours, it’s treated as accepted and the seller is paid.
What’s not allowed
Items must be legal to sell in the UAE and must be your own pre-loved personal property. Counterfeit goods, stolen property, recalled or unsafe products, weapons, controlled substances, and anything otherwise restricted by law are prohibited. Khaznati is for individuals — not for unlicensed commercial or bulk trading. We remove listings and suspend accounts that break these rules.
Staying safe
- Keep every transaction on Khaznati — buyer protection only applies on-platform.
- Never share payment details, passwords, or one-time codes outside the app.
- Describe items honestly and use clear, real photos so orders go smoothly.
- Be wary of anyone asking you to pay or arrange delivery off-platform.
