Everything you need to buy and sell with confidence on Khaznati. If you can’t find your answer below, tap the WhatsApp button in the corner and a real person will help.
Selling
How do I list an item?
Open the app and tap Sell. Add a few photos, a title, a category, the condition and your price — your listing goes live in minutes. Listing is free and Khaznati charges no seller commission.
What can I sell?
Your own pre-loved personal items that are legal to sell in the UAE. Khaznati is for individuals selling things they no longer need — not for commercial or bulk trading. Banned items include counterfeits, weapons, and anything unsafe or unlawful.
How do I get paid?
Once the buyer’s order is confirmed as delivered, your payout is released to your nominated UAE bank account — typically within 48 hours.
How does pickup work?
When your item sells, a courier collects it from your door at a time that suits you. You don’t arrange couriers or meet buyers yourself — just have the item ready and packed.
How do I set up my payout account?
Open your payout account from Settings and add your UAE IBAN and the account holder’s name. We verify the details before your first payout, so it’s worth adding before your first sale rather than after it.
What does it cost to sell?
Nothing. Listing is free and sellers keep 100% of the item price — Khaznati charges no seller commission. Buyers pay a separate buyer-protection fee at checkout, which is what funds buyer protection.
Can I edit or remove a listing?
Yes. Open the listing from your profile and tap edit to change its photos, price or details. You can also unpublish it to hide it for a while, or delete it for good.
What if a buyer says my item isn’t as described?
The buyer reports it in the app within 48 hours of delivery, and our team reviews the claim against your listing and its photos. Payment is held until that’s resolved — which is why accurate photos and an honest condition are your best protection: they’re exactly what we check a false claim against.
Buying
What if the item isn’t as described?
If a delivered item doesn’t match its listing, report it in the app within 48 hours of delivery. You’re covered by buyer protection: our team reviews the claim, and if it’s upheld you’re refunded in full and the payment goes back to you rather than to the seller.
How does payment protection work?
When you pay, the seller isn’t paid straight away — the money is held until delivery is confirmed. From the moment your order is marked as delivered you have 48 hours to confirm it or report a problem; if the item never arrives, or isn’t in the condition the seller described, report it and we’ll review the claim and refund you in full if it’s upheld. After the 48 hours the payment is released to the seller.
Who pays for delivery?
The buyer. It’s the courier’s own charge, passed on at cost and shown to you at checkout before you pay — no surprises.
What currency are prices in?
All prices are shown in UAE Dirham (AED).
What fees do I pay as a buyer?
Two separate lines, each shown at checkout before you pay: a buyer-protection fee (8% of the item price + AED 4, which also covers payment processing) and the delivery charge. Nothing else — the item price itself goes to the seller in full.
Why are there fees, and where do they go?
Because we’d rather show you real costs than hide them in the price. Delivery goes to the courier — you pay their own rate for your parcel and route, with no markup from us, and you can pick a different courier at checkout whenever more than one covers your address. The only fee Khaznati charges is the buyer-protection fee (8% + AED 4), which covers payment processing by MamoPay, our licensed payment provider, and funds holding your payment safely until delivery is confirmed, full refunds when a claim is upheld, and our support team. Sellers pay nothing at all.
How do I track my order?
Open Orders from Settings and tap the order — you’ll see its current courier status and tracking updates as it moves. If notifications are on, you’ll also get an alert at each step.
Can I make an offer?
Yes. On a listing, tap Make offer and enter your price. The seller can accept, decline or counter it, and their reply lands in your inbox. Once an offer is accepted you check out at the agreed price.
How long does delivery take?
Usually one to two working days across the UAE once the seller has handed the item to the courier. The exact timing depends on the courier and on how promptly the seller hands it over — you can follow the current status in the order’s tracking at any time.
Account
Do I need to verify my identity?
To sell, yes — every seller completes identity verification with a valid Emirates ID and a UAE mobile number. It keeps the marketplace trustworthy for everyone.
How do I report a problem or a listing?
Use the report option on the listing or on the user’s profile — we review every report. Learn more on our Trust & safety page.
How do I change my phone number or email?
Open Settings and tap your phone number or your email to update it. Your phone number is also your login, so changing it needs a fresh verification code.
How do I manage my saved addresses?
Settings has an addresses section where you can add, edit or remove them. A listing that uses an address for pickup stays linked to it, so you’ll be asked to move those listings to another address before that one can be deleted.
How do I switch to Arabic or dark mode?
Both live in Settings. You can switch between English and Arabic at any time, and set the appearance to Light, Dark, or System to follow your device.
How do I control notifications?
Settings has separate toggles for push and email. Push keeps you up to date on offers, messages and delivery and is on by default; email is off unless you turn it on.
